Strawberry Pickin' & Weekend Fun

We have had one busy weekend... I love weekends that we have plans and get to have fun, but also love the ones where we stay home all weekend and enjoy one another. This weekend was full of friends and lots of laughs. Had an awesome baby shower for an awesome girl at church who is having TWINS ( a girl and a boy) HOW FUN!?! Saturday was full of activities 5K for mommy, 2 football games for daddy, play date at PNO for Olivia, Wild Game Feast with the men at church for daddy, and lots of snuggles for all of us!! Sunday Funday involved attending an AWESOME church service that really hit home with me dealing with "Fear of Failure" I will dedicate another post to this. We took a good ol nap and ended our amazing weekend with awesome friends pickin' strawberries and a good ol' BBQ!! We are TRULY blessed with an AWESOME set of friends!! Lovin' This Life--Just Missin My Family!!

My First 5K

I ran my first 5k yesterday!! I'm VERY proud of myself. I had a goal of running it in 36.00, but finished 31.48!! YAY! I have been practicing running with the girls early in the mornings before work and some on my own in the evening.... I never would have imagined I could run it (only walking a little) that quick, but I'm sure happy! I hope to maintain that speed or get better by my next 5K which will be on May 5th the May Day 5K! Yippie!

It was so nice to have my family at the finish line cheering me on! Olivia was so excited momma was running in a race.. lol! YAY!

Sunday Funday

Well we got up and went to church and was home by 10:00 the storm and rain were almost here so we decided on a cereal lunch and nap time... Woke Up at 3pm!! a 3 hour nap with rain and thunder was AMAZING!! I made chicken and noodles and Olivia told me she wanted to play dress up.. SO that's what we did... then she modeled for me and we took some new pictures... Here's my baby at 2 years and 7 Months and a few days.. WOW time flies I can't express the joy she has brought into my life and how thankful i am for each day I get to spend watching her learn.... She is SO smart she can spell her name out loud and in sign language.. She can count to 5 in English and Spanish and she knows all her colors in sign language... WOW she is full of information I dont think i learned until later in life... Children are SUCH a blessing from God and I'm SO thankful he has allowed me the journey of being Olivia's Mommy!! Here's my BABY... BIG GIRL!!

She is a  miracle from God.. She came out a fighter and to this day she is stubborn and VERY independent! God has big plans for this girl and i can't wait to be there to be behind her ALL the way.

Everyone Please say a prayer for us all Olivia wants a "Brother" or "Sisa" and we've been trying for 8 months and it's not happened... I know God has a plan and we have Gave it ALL to him and it will happen in his time... Just Pray He will Allow us to have another beautiful baby so Olivia can be a BIG SISTER :) She prays over my belly and it's SUCH A beautiful thing. Thank You Jesus!!

Friends Make Life SO Much Fun!

I have had an AWESOME day! We spent the morning helping out with Servolution one of the biggest events our church puts on during the year... This year is was quite chilly!! YIKES! I was in charge of manicures and got to see so many ladies and little ladies come through and get their nails done by awesome ladies in our church who just wanted to help. I LOVED painting the little ones nails who were talking about how the color was going to or wasn't going to match their Easter dress!! ;)I'm sure the ones whose nails weren't going to match their mothers loved it :) hehe!!
It was an AWESOME day. Olivia is finally old enough to understand about hunting eggs! SO. MUCH. FUN! She did it all by herself... she picked them up and even shared with some kids who didn't get many eggs. She is such a doll. She got lots of candy and was getting cranky and ready to go home.
As we pulled into the garage she says, "Mommy I need a rest" lol and that's exactly what we did curled up in my bed and cuddled until she went to sleep and i believe i got 10 minutes in before the boys got here and we started our friends BBQ! Such a blast.
I seriously have made some amazing friends here in Republic, Mo... Some newer than others BUT all of them are seriously the best a girl could ask for. With no family being close to us it's SO nice to have friends you consider family. I love yall so very much and i'm so blessed to have you all.

The one thing i did miss today was my best friends baby boy turning 1. How could i ever miss this!?! The one thing that stinks about being far from family and friends that i've had forever... is missing big events. I made sure i was there when he was born and every hour before that she was in the hospital never did i imagine i would have to miss such important things! :( BUT i will be mailing his gift soon :) AND praying i will get a visit this summer to just spend a few days with them!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MR. ELI!! We love you so much and can't wait to see you soon!!

Lately...

Well not long after my last blog I spent a week with my mom over spring break... It was an AWESOME break to go have some fun in the bootheel.. We spent lots of girl time together along with my sisters it was amazing. I miss those girls more than anything in this world... and wish so badly there wasn't 3 1/2 hours that separated us.. BUT we all have to grow up and we all go our own ways and Republic has been AMAZING to my little family.

We also visited with my daddy and family along with Jeff's family too... We attended a wedding where my precious 2 year old cried because SHE WANTED TO MARRY HER DADDY!! (Brought tears to this mommas eyes) She is SO stinkin precious and my time with her being little is going WAY TOO FAST!!

On our way home an unexpected car wreck happened where someone pulled out in front of my car who was carrying not only myself but two of my most precious cargo.. My TWO babies... Olivia and my fury baby Tucker.... Talk about FLIPPING OUT.. along with being hurt and seeing my baby with belt burn... IT. WAS. AWFUL.

Bye Bye Jeep... Thank God we are living but my jeep who I'd only had a year is gone. Here's my new ride after 18 days in a rental car THANK U JESUS i'm out of that smokey smelling car. (YUCK) Thankful I got one but man was it stinky!!!  My new baby... and boy is it NICE! :) SO thankful!!

Yes I'm in LOVE!!

We have been spending lots of time at home outside this weather is UNREAL it has been amazing beautiful outside... I LOVE spending time with my little family outside. I got a surprise when I got home from work one day from my amazing husband and gorgeous daughter... Check it Out:

Tomorrow is our big event at our church here in Republic. Destiny Church *DC* we call it Servolution. I'm SO excited to be able to reach out to the community. It's always an awesome day to see the smiles on people's faces. Also we will have a big Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. 

We are ending our day with some friends and having a BBQ at our house I'm looking forward to an awesome Saturday and REALLY excited to put the carrots out for the Easter Bunny tomorrow night and to see the look on my baby  big girl's face Sunday morning.
