Father Daughter Dance

How in the world can my baby be old enough to go to a dance??? Jeff has been waiting a few years to be able to take her to this dance and when he asked her she was SOOO excited!! and of course said"yes" <3 Seriously MELT MY HEART! I took her dress shopping and let her help pick out the perfect dress and she got so excited "lets make it a secret and not show daddy it will be a surprise" 

We got her all dolled up and they headed out.. First stop was dinner at Ruby Tuesday.. Jeff ordered a drink and got her a Shirley Temple... She thought it was so funny her drink was bigger than his.. 

As she was drinking it, she pushed it back and said "I dont like this beer" lol the ladies around them looked over and laughed she's a MESS! 

He said she danced all night and LOVED dancing with him-- She even got SO excited when Call Me Maybe came on the radio she spun and fell and smacked her nose and it started to bleed-- but it didn't stop her he said she was right back at it after they got her all cleaned up... She loved telling me all about her night and her date with her daddy. 

I am SOOOOO SOOO thankful for such an AMAZING daddy who not only was EXCITED to take his little princess to her first dance and show her how a boy should treat her, but he danced and even asked her with flowers.. Boys my little lady will be treated RIGHT. He is the BEST daddy and example for my girls and I'm SO blessed. Hope she always wants to dance with her daddy and go to the Father Daughter dance and be SO excited.

Dress Shopping 

Adelynn *8 Months*

Wow.. You are SOOO busy and into EVERYTHING. You are the opposite of your sister who would sit and play with toys forever.. You are knocking over picture frames, pulling up on the table and grabbing things, and just into ANYTHING that is NOT toys.. :) I wouldn't trade it for the world, but man slow down you are making mommy SO tired.

You still only have 2 little teeth on bottom and you smile showing them ALLL the time.. You are always cracking up laughing at your sister who LOVES to make you laugh and you are always smiling ESP. when you see a camera or phone... 

Sleeping is So-So.. There are sometimes you will sleep ALL night without a peep, other nights you want to eat in the middle of the *this is most nights* You will eat at 4oz bottle and put yourself back to sleep... You LOVE LOVE LOVE the binky... I think i'm going to regret this later, but for now you sleep with about 4 of them so you can find one and it soothes you back to sleep. We have been trying to let you soothe yourself, but if you dont and you cry too hard of course we get you a bottle we will keep working on this :)

You are eating lots more table food and some baby food.. Usually in the morning you will eat some oatmeal and fruit, lunch depends on what we are having at school but i always give you some veggies along with crackers, bread, or like friday some little pieces of chicken nugget. You love peaches :) 

You have regulated yourself with going to the bathroom so no more miralax :) YAY! 

You are wearing 6 6-9 and some 9 month clothes and Diapers are now 2's but we only have luvs right now and they seem to be a little snug going to start some 3's until we get more 2's that are pampers.. 

Your first word that you said and put with someone was MAMA!!! YAY! I was SO stinkin excited.. then you started saying "bye bye bye" with a little wave and DaDa.. SO stinkin CUTE!! 

You love dancing, singing, reading books,  being bounced, Olivia talking to you and chasing you on her hands and knees.. You just giggle and giggle... Love singing and clapping your hands... Putting stuff into a bucket or box and dumping it out.. and just playing with everything you especially like the legos at school and chasing the other little ones around... 

The newest game is pulling up and letting go and just standing there... I have a feeling walking will be happening soon.. You will walk around the couches and anything you can stand and push you walk but you've only taken 2 or so steps letting go. 

You are learning SO much. SO fast. It melts my heart watching you. I'm SO thankful I get to be with you all the time.. You are defiantly a momma's girl and i wouldn't change that for the world. I love you Mae Mae baby. <3

Adelynn *7 Months*

You are on the GO..  Crawling and now starting to pull up and take steps...
You LOVE your walker and you pull up on EVERYTHING. You got your first knot today at school :( but you only cried for a minute and back on you went to play.. Everyone says you are going to be an early walker.. We shall see you are growing WAY too fast i do know that. SLOW DOWN.

You got another tooth on the bottom so now you have two little teeth.. They are adorable!

Sleeping is NOT going good at all the past two weeks you are up and down and whining ALL night long.. I think you have a bit of a cold with cough and congestion-- but the doctors say there is nothing they can do it will go away. Last night we put you in your car seat and you slept for a little while but man it's rough being up all night and working. 

You are still taking gentlease 100% of the time.. We add oatmeal in at night to help fill your belly. You are holding your own bottle and would rather lay in the floor and eat than someone hold you and try to feed you... The only bottle you will let me hold you to feed you is your night night bottle.

You are still taking miralax 1 oz per day to help keep you not constipated... which is going  A LOT better. 

You are wearing 6 month clothes and sometimes 6-9 mo and Diapers are now 2's..

We are working on saying "MA MA" lol but i'm sure you will shout out "da da" before :)

You will wave hi and bye sometimes and love playing peek a boo.

You are such a sweet little lady.. I love your smile and watching you and sissy play. Can't wait to see how much fun yall have together this summer.

Thanksgiving

I always love holidays because we usually get to spend time with all of our family which being 4 hours away doesnt always allow us to spend as much time as we would like to with all of them. I miss them all very much and im thankful for the time when we get to visit.

Here are my little turkeys that i am VERY thankful for. Both of them with their own little personalities and bring so much joy to our lives. I made their cute little turkey shirts this year which im super proud of :) i thought they were adorable and not to mention under 10 bucks a piece. Score.

We did our normal routine on Thanksgiving day which is to eat with Jeff's family in the morning and spend time with them and then we head over to my moms and have dinner in the afternoon.

 After resting for a bit it's our annual Black Friday shopping. This year it started so early so we decided to wait and go later we headed out about 930pm. It was a BLAST as always, but i was SUPER sleepy.

Friday we had Thanksgiving with my dad and grandma and sisters..  it was great spening time with them.

After spending the afternoon with them we headed to cape to celebrate the boys birthdays Brad, Jeff and Tyler. We went to the new Japanases place and it was AMAZING. 

Saturday night Jeff and I went on a little date to eat some mexican and to the movies to see Catching Fire. It was a really good movie. lt's always super nice to get out and enjoy each other without kiddos.

Loving this little blessed life I live. 

Adelynn *6 Months*

You are sitting and crawling EVERYWHERE... and you got your FIRST tooth the bottom left one and the right one is right behind...  You love eating food.. especially your little yumm yumm crackers and puffs. You get your food at dinner time and we are going to start in doing some in the morning too.. You are taking a 6 oz bottle about every 3-4 hours... You are a growing girl... Can't wait to see what your weight/height is at your appointment on Tuesday! 

Sleeping is going better we have had a couple all night sleeps, but usually up to give you a binky about once or twice a night sometimes that doesn't work and you will take a 4 oz bottle in the middle of the night or sleep with mommy and daddy. You are just a tid bit spoiled especially after the holidays and all the grandparent lovin you got. 

You are still taking gentlease 100% of the time.. We add cereal in at night to help fill your belly. You are holding your own bottle and would rather lay in the floor and eat than someone hold you and try to feed you. We are off of the prescription baby miralax, but started you on the one you get over the counter we mix one cap with 8 oz and you get 1 oz with your morning bottle... Talk about MUCH happier! :) 

You are wearing  6 month clothes and sometimes 6-9 mo and Diapers are now 2's..  You have some chunky little legs :) 

Your sister is loving you being on the move and being able to play with you more since you can move and hold yourself up for long periods of time. You are one of the happiest babies. Your smile is contagious and your giggles fills my heart with so much happiness..
